French food

Being back in America makes us miss these things the most. Pastries and crepes.

If you get to Paris, you must go to a crepe stand and order a Jambon et Fromage crepe. It will change your life!

December in Paris

The city decorates in the most tasteful and beautiful way.

Angelina’s

Self described as the worlds best hot chocolate, its hard to argue. Its the most thick chocolaty substance that can be made and still be a liquid. They make both a chocolate and white chocolate variety, and personally speaking the white chocolate is like a liquidated chocolate bar that you would gladly put on your list of last meal items. Truly superb & expensive, but we had to stop in just to bring back a little with us.

How we chose to spend part of our last day.

A bottle of G. H. Mumm Grand Cru champagne, two glasses, and a view. Oh and a completely empty stomach, whoops…  I knew we “fergot” something before we left.

Jardin des Tuileries
The end of December and still the weather was fair enough for a people to enjoy the outside on this day. No day through the city could be complete without a stop in a park just for a few moments. Really any park too, there are yet so many we never got to see but all take you away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Looking at the left bank of Paris from the right bank. This was right about the area of Pont Neuf. I just love how the water running right through the middle of the city opens the whole city up. It give is definition to its different cultures within the city.

The Tea Shop down the street from us. We never went in, its quite expensive and supposed to be one of the finest quality tea shops in the world. At least that is what I was told, however certainly its one of the finest in Paris. The artwork on the outside of it was just completed in the fnal weeks before we left Paris.

The Blog in 2014

In 2014 we are not likely to be returning to Paris, but we do hope to return in 2015. That said we happily have 1,000’s of pictures never shown to anyone on our instagram and or this blog. We hope to post just a few each week of something you haven’t seen and perhaps a few from friends who live in Paris if they should send us any.

Thank you
